ABOUT THE MISSION:

Richard “Dick” Joseph Thomson passed away on December 7, 1941 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii at the age of 18 years old almost 19. He was born in Texas City, Texas to James Farquhar Thomson (father) Pearl Mitchell Thomson (mother). He was serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Oklahoma when he was killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Richard “Dick” enlisted in the Navy after graduating High School in 1939.

Directions: Funeral Home is east of I-45 on E. Main From I-45 exit W. Main, exit 23 and travel east
Please note all services will be at the grave site. We will stand a flag line at the funeral home to welcome the family between Noon to 12:30 PM then move to the cemetery.

We will stand a flag line for Seaman Richard “Dick” Joseph Thomson, at the funeral home to welcome his family and at the cemetery for his services. Flags bikes are requested for the procession to the cemetery. The FAST team will depart for the cemetery at 12:30 If you cannot be at the funeral home by 12:30 then please join us at the cemetery service before 1PM.
