The family of AMM2C Richard “Dick” Hemme has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects for their loved one. AMM2C Hemme faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
During AMM2C Hemme’s service to our Grateful Nation, he performed duties as an Aviation Machinist Mate 2C at numerous overseas locations.
Upon completion of his military service AMM2C Hemme received an Honorable Discharge and awarded a WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, and a Philippine Liberation Medal. No additional military related information is available at this time.
Note: This is a two-part mission.
Part 1 is a Funeral Service at the Church in Dunedin, follow by an escort (approximately 2 miles) to a Celebration of Live Event.
Part 2 is a Celebration of Live at American Legion Post 275, Dunedin.
Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for our U.S. Navy WWII Hero and his family.
