ABOUT THE MISSION:
Veteran Hamlyn proudly served in the U.S. Army from May 4, 1966 to February 7, 1968. He served in Vietnam for 13 months and attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class (SPC-4). He was awarded the following commendations: Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Combat Infantry Badge.
