The Family of PFC Richard Dozier Knowles has graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders to escort their loved one to Bay Pines National Cemetery and stand in final respects for their Hero.
PFC Knowles served in the US Army from 10/30/61 to 10/30/63, serving in Co B 14th QM Bn.
Upon completion of his service to the Country, PFC Knowles Received an Honorable Discharge and awarded a Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Badge.
PFC Knowles was an active Board Member at American Legion Post 158, Treasure Island, FL., and loved fishing during his free time.
His wife Sandi Knowles and son survive PFC Knowles.
Please bring your 3 x 5 American Flags and stand for this Hero, as he did for our Nation and us.
Note: This is a two-part mission.
Part 1 is an escort only (approximately 7 miles) from the church in Pasadena, FL. to St. Petersburg.
Part 2 is a committal service at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg.
