ABOUT THE MISSION:
Richard Begley is a United States Army Veteran. He served 20 years, including time in Vietnam. After being released from active duty, Denny was transferred to the United States Army Reserves, having attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. Denny became a recruiter in the Reserves.Denny was awarded National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Longevity Award, Small Arms Expert Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Gold Recruiter Badge, Rifle M16 Sharpshooter Badge, Good Conduct Medal. Having completed his term of service, Denny was honorably discharge on August 31, 1979.
