Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been requested to stand for PO2 Richard Dean Pingel, 71. “Dick” served Dec 1962 – Dec 1965 in various Naval Air Squadrons. He immediately re-enlisted and served until his honorable discharge in 1969. He received a Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal. He was a master plumber and owned his own business in Colorado. While there, he helped form and became the Chief of Longmont Emergency Unit, performing search and rescues, and as a team diver when needed on search and rescue missions in the Rocky Mountains. Dick loved fishing, camping, and motorcycles having ridden with the PGR. Please join us as we help support his family, pay our respects, and honor his service to our nation.
