Spec4 Schulz was a United States Army veteran. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 20 January 1966 to 19 January 1968. After Service School at Ft Leonard Wood Missouri and training as a Radio Operator Spec4 Schulz was transferred to Vietnam as part of a US Army Armor group. He served 11 months and 27 days in Vietnam. His Awards and Medals include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, Sharpshooter Badge M14 rifle. Spec 4 Schulz was released from active duty and honorably discharged in January 1968.

If it would be of comfort to have a live bugler sound Taps at this ceremony for your loved one, please feel free to either contact us directly or fill in the “Request a Bugler” form on our website at Please be aware that today almost all military and civilian honor guards play Taps using a recording device.

    We are a nationwide volunteer organization, we provide this service free of charge, and we do not require DD214 discharge papers to perform Taps for veterans. We also provide this service for law enforcement officers, fire fighters and other first responders.
