ABOUT THE MISSION:
Richard Dale “Dick” Meyer honorably served in the US Army. At the request of the family, it will be the Patriot Guard Riders honor to escort Mr. Meyer and his family to his final resting place. This is a one-part mission, please read entire email for mission details.

Briefing: 12:00 PM (Noon)
Immediately following the briefing, we will prepare for a one-hour escort to MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Kick Stands Up: 12:30 PM
Upon arrival, we will stand a flag line until the ceremony is complete. We will then quietly depart.
If you will fly big flags, inspect all flag mount equipment to ensure it is safely capable of highway speeds.
If you do not participate in the escort, please stage at the committal shelter, MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621) not later than 1:00PM.
Due to COVID19, we will abide by all rules and regulations set by the CDC and the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Each attendee is responsible to bring a personal face-covering. It does not have to be an actual mask; any sort of covering will be sufficient. In keeping with the requirements of the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs, PGR members will maintain at least a six-foot distance between each other during the briefing and flag line.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
