ABOUT THE MISSION:
Richard Rhinehart was a US Army Veteran. He proudly served in the US Army and US Army Reserve from 1961-1983.During his service to our country he achieved the rank of Major as a Personnel Management Officer. Some of the many medals and decorations he received were the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Major Rhinehart was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood among other duty stations and eventually served in the USAR at Headquarters Command USATC Engineer Fifth US Army. He was honorably discharged in 1983.
It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude for the sacrifices this hero made for this nation.

Immediately following the Circle of Honor/ Briefing we will escort our hero and his family to the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery for 12:00 Military Honors.
Following CDC/Government guidelines/mandates and directives from our State Captain and Cemetery Director, the following precautions are to be followed: All members are required to carry a face mask/cloth covering during the mission in case we are requested to wear it. If you are unable to wear a mask, we ask that you stand down and stay home. There are no exceptions. Wash your hands before, during (as practical), and after. Please ensure your cell phones are silenced and your music from your bike is off. Remember to hydrate the day before as well as the day of the mission.
