During his service in the Gulf War\, Mr. Chroust earned the Meritorious Service Medal\, the Army Commendation Medal (5 times)\, the Army Achievement Medal (7 times)\, the Valorous Unit Award\, the Meritorious Unit Commendation\, the National Defense Service Medal (2 times)\, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with (3) Bronze Service Stars\, the Southwest Asia Service Medal\, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3\, The Service Ribbon\, the Army Good Conduct Medal (6 times)\, the Overseas Service Ribbon (3 times)\, the Kuwait Liberation Medal\, the Government of Kuwait Liberation Medal\, the Parachutist Badge\, the Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver-W Bar\, and the British Parachutist Wings. \nDate: Saturday July 9th\, 2016 \nThe service will take place at the Troutman Funeral Home\,\n345 N.
