ABOUT THE MISSION:
Sgt. Allen proudly and honorably served in the Marine Corps & Army National Guard a total of 19 years. He served as an Infantryman and Amphibious Raid Instructor while in the Marine Corps 1st Bn 2nd Marine Div. He was in the 114th MP Unit, Clinton MS and 114 Field Artillery 1st BN Arty, Drew MS while in the National Guard. Medals and Commendations include (Marine Corps) Good Conduct Medal w/3 Stars, Rifle Expert Badge 4 Awards, Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon w/1 Star, Letter of Appreciation, Certificate of Commendation 7, Meritorious Unit Commendation. (National Guard) National Defense Service Medal 2nd Award, Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal. He served as a police officer for Pearl Police Department for eight years.
