Mission Summary:
The family of Rev. Dews has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a Flag Line at his Funeral Service, accompany
him on his last ride, and stand a Flag Line again at his Interment Service.

PART 1
: Flag Line at Rev. Dews’ Funeral Service and procession to Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Service Start Time: 11:00

Details Of Part 1: After the mission briefing, Riders will stand tall and silent on the Flag Line in honor of Rev. Dews’ Service to his Country while family and friends arrive. Prior to the Service our certificate will be presented to the family. When the Service begins, Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, furl, and stow them. Those Riders not participating in the procession will be debriefed and dismissed to head to the Cemetery. Procession Riders will receive the safety briefing and prepare to accompany Rev. Dews and his family and friends to the Cemetery.

Details Of Part 2: After the mission briefing, honor bikes (if needed) will assume their position in the appropriate staging lane and await the arrival of Rev. Dews and his family and friends. All other Riders will move to the shelter to set the flags and await the arrival of the procession. At the conclusion of the Service, flags will be returned to storage, furled, and stowed and the Riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
