ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Army Vietnam Veteran, Spc. Raymond E. Jones Jr. has requested that we stand in silent honor during his service and again at his committal. Raymond joined the Army in June of 1965. He was a Light Weapons Specialist and served as a Combat Infantryman. After he returned home in 1967, Raymond joined the US Army Reserves. He was the recipient of the Combat Infantry Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal with Two Bronze Stars as well as his Rifle Marksmanship Badge. We will stand at his viewing and service before escorting him to his final rest. There we will stand in silent honor of his service to this Nation. Raymond E. Jones Jr. is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
