Rayford Howard Boatright

ABOUT THE MISSION:

          This is a two day 3 stage mission. Please see all stages below.
Sadly I must report we have lost another US Army veteran, Rayford Howard Boatright. His family has requested we escort him to his final resting place at Georgia National Cemetery. We have humbly accepted this request.SPC 4 (E-4) Boatright served honorably in the Army from 1968 to 1970.He was stationed in Europe for most of his enlistment Battery 5 BTN 6 Artillery. He enjoyed fishing and making people laugh. Rayford had a warm, loving personality and was dedicated to his family as a devoted father, grandfather and brother.Parts of the above text come form the Winkenhofer FH Obituary which can be read here.

Stage in the parking lot and after a short briefing we will stand a flag line from 11:30 until the service begins aprox 2:00 pm.

Special Instructions:

Stage at parking lot and after a safety briefing we will line up for the LEO assisted escort to GNC. We are leaving NLT 8:10 am so do not be late.We will be riding at up to 50 MPH be sure to check your flag mounts before the escort.The American Legion Riders will also be included in the escort. Mr Boatright was a American Legion member.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Special Instructions:

Stage at the flagpole at the top of the hill past the PIC building. Motors park on the right side on the sidewalk. Cages pull forward and park on the right side as close to the grass as possible but not on the grass. We will wait for the arrival of the escort then we will have a briefing and then move to the assigned shelter. One motorcycle with flags will be chosen to lead the procession from the PC building.
