DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission \nRayford Buckles\, Retired\, Veteran\nUSAAC\, USAF  – Vietnam\nMULTI-CITY\, Mississippi – 24 Mar 2018\n\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \n\nWe are sad to report the death of U.S. Army Air Corps/Air Force (Ret) Vietnam veteran MSgt Rayford C. Buckles.  His family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his services.   It will be our honor to do so. \nMSgt Buckles retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was an air policeman for 10 years and aircraft mechanic for 10 years. He worked on B-36s\, B-58s\, and B-52s and finished up in quality control. He traveled all over the world when he was in the USAF – Hawaii\, Texas\, The Philippines\, Thailand\, Columbus\, Mississippi\, and Peru\, Indiana. He moved back to Franklin County where he resided since he retired.  He was retired from USAF\, Peru Foundry and Amtrol\, Inc.  He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2067 Peru\, Indiana. \nMedals and Commendations include: Retirement Commendation Medal\, USAF Commendation Medal\, USAF Service Award Ribbon w/2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters\, USAF Outstanding Unit Award\, USAF Good Conduct Medal\, Army Good Conduct Medal w/2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters\, National Defense Service Medal\, USA Defense Service Medal\, America Defense Commemorative\, Vietnam Service Medal\, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal\, Cold War Victory Commemorative and Overseas Service Commemorative Medal. \nPlease join us as we stand for one who stood for us. \n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:  24 Mar 2018\nPrimary Staging Time: 12:15 P.M. \n\nFranklin Funeral Home\n291 Main St East\nMeadville\, Mississippi – 39653\n\n\nRide Captain: \n\nHervey Littlefield\n601-754-2061\n\n\nSpecial Instructions:\n \n\nThe PGR will stand a  silent U.S. flag line for visitation 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m.  service.
