He entered active duty in October 1966. He served for 2 years. Ray’s last duty assignment was as an Engine and Power Train Repairman with the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam. On October 8\, 1968\, having attained the rank of SP4\, he was honorably transferred to the US Army Reserve. There are still partners (funeral homes\, cemeteries\, churches) that may require masks to be worn as well as social distancing. Some families may also request masks/face coverings be worn.
