ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ray Lee Harris is a United States Army Veteran. He entered active duty in October 1966. He served for 2 years. Ray’s last duty assignment was as an Engine and Power Train Repairman with the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam. On October 8, 1968, having attained the rank of SP4, he was honorably transferred to the US Army Reserve. Awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal; Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Expert Marksmanship Badge for M14 and M16.It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude to this hero for his sacrifices made for this nation.

Although all prior statewide mandates have been lifted at staging locations, all members must still adhere to the following:*All members are required to carry a face mask/cloth covering at all times during the mission. There are still partners (funeral homes, cemeteries, churches) that may require masks to be worn as well as social distancing. Some families may also request masks/face coverings be worn. We will always respect their wishes.*If you wish to wear a face mask at a mission, you are free to do so.*If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home until you improve.*Flag support can begin with the normal procedure of water and snacks for members. While disinfecting the poles is always a good idea, it is no longer required.
