ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard will escort MSgt Folsom to Barrancas National Cemetery and stand a flag line in his honor. MSgt Folsom served in the United States Marine Corps from Jan 1957 to Apr 1980 primarily in the Personnel/Administration field. MSgt Folsom was born 9 Sep 1940 and passed on 26 Jul 2020 at age 79. MSgt Folsom received the following awards: Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal w/Combat V, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct (7 Awards), National Defense Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Cuba), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Meritorious Unit Commendation, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, and the Expert Pistol and Rifle Badges.

Naval Station Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will be worn at all times while riding aboard the base. Current Covid protocols in effect and will be covered at briefing.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
