Randy enlisted in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from July of 1969 then transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves August of 1971 and was honorably discharged July of 1975. Randy received the National Defense Service Medal\, the Vietnam Service Medal\, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 2 Over Seas Bars and the Army Commendation Medal.
