S1C Gibbons joined the U. S. Coast Guard on Dec. 12\, 1943\, and served until Feb 1945. During her service\, she was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the American Theater of Operations.\nS1C Gibbons will be escorted to Barrancas National Cemetery for interment and honors at 9:30 AM.
