ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of S1C Ramona Ruth Gibbons has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in her honor and to escort her to Barrancas National Cemetery for final Honors. S1C Gibbons joined the U. S. Coast Guard on Dec. 12, 1943, and served until Feb 1945. During her service, she was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the American Theater of Operations.
S1C Gibbons will be escorted to Barrancas National Cemetery for interment and honors at 9:30 AM. LEO escort will be provided.

Special Instructions:
Naval Air Station requires that you ride with long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be maintained while riding aboard the base.
