ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to participate in the final farewell of one of our own, Patriot Guard Rider, Ride Captain, and Vietnam combat veteran Ralph Frederick Bierman, 71. Our brother Ralph passed with no known immediate family. Ralph was born 5 May 1947 in Omaha, NE. He was the son of Herbert Andrew and Elta W. (Dickmeyer) Bierman, who farmed near Battle Creek, NE. He graduated from Battle Creek High School and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Ralph joined the U.S. Army on 23 January 1969 and served as a military policeman in Vietnam from 6 December 1969 to 10 November 1970. Ralph worked at NTT Data Services. He loved to ride motorcycles and supported many veteran causes. Ephesians 6:10-18 – Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
We were sad to hear this news. We have our memories of good times on the farm in Battle Creek, and at the family cabin in Minnesota. Rest in peace cousin Ralph. We are thankful for your service.??
