Ralph Anthony Uscicki

Honor Mission
Ralph Anthony Uscicki, Veteran
Grand Blanc, Michigan – 09-01-20

The Family of PFC Ralph Uscicki has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in honor of his service to our Country. Mr. Uscicki entered the United States Army in February of 1954, and served until June of 1955. He was stationed in Germany for a period of time and was an Artillery Surveyor, the individual who relayed target coordinates to the gun crew. He was also a very good baseball player, and was a member of his Divisional baseball team, and would travel and compete against other Division baseball teams in Europe. After the Army, he received a tryout invitation from the Detroit Tigers, and made it as far as their Farm Team. After marrying, he worked in sales and inventory, and functioned as Mr. Mom during the day at times while his wife went off to work. He ultimately retired from the City of Detroit Water Department. He was predeceased by his wife a number of years ago. He is survived by his since life partner, one son, one daughter, and extended family.
