Rafael Gerard Aragon, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Fifty-eight year old retired Navy Veteran Rafael Gerard Aragon served his country honorably for 20 years, retiring on 30 September 2003 with the rank of Yeoman First Class (E6). One year of his career was sea service. During his military career he earned the following awards/decorations: 2-National Defense Service Medals, Joint Service Commendation Medal, 5-Good Conduct Awards, 7-Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, 2-Navy “E” Ribbons, Navy Marksmanship Ribbon and 3-Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
The family of YN1 Aragon has requested the PGR to help honor his life and service career at his funeral service and interment.

Special Instructions:

The PGR was requested to stand a flag line at St Francis de Paula Catholic Church, 303 Encino Street, Tularosa, NM while family and friends arrive for Rafael’s funeral service.

Following the service we will escort the procession to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fairview Road, Tularosa, NM and stand a flag line during his interment service. The U.S. Navy has been requested provide Military Honors.

We will stage at the truck stop at 0845 hrs.
Brief at 0900 hrs
KSU for Tularosa at 0910 hrs
A flag line will be established in front of the church at 0930 hrs until the start of the funeral service.
Following the service, we will escort to the cemetery and stand a flag line during the interment service.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
