DESCRIPTION:Memorial\nPOW/MIA Ceremony\nUSA USMC USN USAF USCG\nShalimar\, Florida – 09-19-19\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION:\n\nThe Patriot Guard Riders have been asked again this year to participate in the Annual POW/MIA Ceremony at the AF Armament Museum\, 100 Museum Dr.\, Eglin AFB\, FL. The Patriot Guard Riders have been honored the past several years by being invited to be a part of this honorable ceremony. We will stage at McDonald’s\, 1189 N. Eglin Pkwy.\, Shalimar\, FL. We will not have a LEO escort. Upon arrival\, we will circle the museum and park on the roadway by the display aircraft (F-15).\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 09-19-19  \nStaging Time: 09:30 AM \nMcDonald’s\n1189 N. Eglin Pkwy\nShalimar\, Florida\n\n\n\nRide Captain: \nVic Everett\n850-502-9545\nbvbd1@cox.net\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \n10:00 AM – Briefing\n10:15 AM– KSU\n10:30 AM– Arrive at Museum\n11:00 AM – Ceremony Starts – set flag line inside\n11:45 AM- Set Flag Line from the museum entrance to the flagpole\n***Note: This mission requires standing for extended periods of time. Plan accordingly.\n\nNote: The armament museum is not on Eglin proper. However\, it is recommended that long sleeve shirts\, long trousers\, full-fingered gloves\, DOT approved helmets\, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection be worn when riding with the Patriot Guard.\n\n\nFlags & Water:\nFlags will be provided\nIf you have large bike flags\, please bring them.\nWater will be provided.\n\n\n\nSubmitted By: Ray Doyle \nPosition: Florida Assistant State Captain \n\n\nNote: You do not have to own/ride a motorcycle or be a veteran to join\, and membership is Free.
