The family of Pompeii McKeever, 62, of South Haven, Have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a silent flag line in honor of his service to our country.
Pompeii graduated from Bangor High School in 1971. He served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. He was proud of his service in an Army Tank Division. He served in Germany and Czechoslovakia. Pompeii worked at Palisades Nuclear Plant as a security guard and later worked at Sherwin Williams Paint in Holland until 2003. Pompeii enjoyed playing guitar, wood working, gardening, cooking, and making people laugh. He also loved acting in plays. Pompeii was a member of Emmanuel Community Church.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2016 family will arrive around 11:45 AM
