DESCRIPTION:The family of Aviation Machinists Mate Petty Officer 1st Class Gary W. Osborne\, Sr. has requested that we stand tall and silent in a flag line of respect and honor prior to the services for their loved one.  It will be our privilege and honor to do so. \nAD1 Osborne served 20 years in the Navy.  During his service to our country he earned and was awarded the following: Vietnam Service Medal\, National Defense Service Medal\, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation\, Gallantry Cross Medal w/palms\, Air Medal (3X)\, RVN Meritorious Unit Citation 1st Class Color w/palms\, Vietnam Campaign Medal\, 4th Good Conduct Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.  Hero Osborne Served on the USS Saratoga (CV60)\, Forrestal Class Supercarrier. At the time of his death he was a weapons inspector for Boeing. \nHe leaves behind his wife Sandy\, 4 children and their spouses\, 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren as well as a long list of other family and friends. \nPlease join me in standing tall\, silent and respectful in a flag line of honor for this American Warrior.  Stand down Sir; your watch here has been completed.  Your next duty station will be to patrol the seas of Heaven.  May you only experience fair winds and following seas\nWe come to thank you and honor you for your service to our nation.  Your service allows us the freedoms we enjoy today.
