The family of PO1 Albert J Sarkis United States Navy, died on Active Duty, and his family has requested we stand for him at his funeral mass then escort them and his remains to the cemetery on July 30, 2016. The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to stand for this American Hero.
Albert enlisted in the U.S. Navy on 22 Feb 2006 and died on 10 July 2016, in Bremerton Washington at the age of 32. During his 10 years of dedicated service included missions aboard the USS Lincoln, Everett, WA (2006-11), Naval Station Guam, Guam (2011-14), and the USS Nimitz, Bremerton, WA (2014-16).

We will stand up a flag line for the movement of Albert’s Casket into the sanctuary and arriving family and guests at approx. 0930 and stand down when the service starts at approx.1000.
We will stand up the flag line again at the end of the service (1045) for the transfer of his casket to the waiting funeral coach, then stand down and mount up for escort to the Odd-Fellows Cemetery on Riverside Blvd.

At the cemetery we will stand up the flag line again for Albert’s transfer to the grave site and remain in place until the graveside ceremonies are complete after which we will quietly depart.
