ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been asked to help honor Mr. Phillip G. Mitchell who served our country for more than 40 years of his life.CW4 Mitchll served in the U.S. Army, Kentucky National Guard and the Navy as a Civil Servant, spending more than 30 years at Naval Ordnance Station (Louisville). He was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division and a Jump Master. It will be our honor to stand a flag line and escort this patriot. We will stand in honor and escort Mr. Mitchell from Louisville International Airport to Ratterman’s Funeral Home on Southside – Thursday, May 9th — He will arrive at 6:45 p.m. (staging at 6:15 p.m). Flag Line on Sunday, May 12th from 2-8 pm (staging at 1:30) at Rattterman’s Funeral Home. Escort from Sts. Simon and Jude Church to Calvary Cemetery on Monday, May 13th — Funeral starts at 11:00 — Stage at 11:00.
