He received a Purple Heart Medal for wounds sustained during his service in Vietnam. Funeral Services are being provided by Gilbert Funeral Home with burial at Portland Memorial Gardens. \nService: 1 pm Friday July 8 \nBurial: following a two mile escort to the cemetery \nStaging: 1200 at the funeral home\, 610 N.
