PGR had been graciously invited to stand a flag line at Quantico National Cemetery for one of our nation’s heroes and a member of our greatest generation and it is with great honor that we will do so

Philip N Davison Jr, Corporal, USMC, 4th Division, was born on Dec 7th, 1920 and passed away on Dec 27, 2015. He served from 22 Oct 1938 to 26 Sep 1939 and from 8 Jan 1942 to 25 Oct 1945 during which time he landed on Iwo Jima as a demolition expert.

His ribbons include the USMC Presidential Unit Citation, American Defense, USMC Good Conduct, Organized Marine Reserve, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, and the Europe/Africa/Mideast Campaign.

Later on he was a private investigator in the Metro DC area for over 50 years. He was also an avid motorcyclist and rode his bike into his 90’s.

He is survived by his children, a daughter and two sons. His son Philip is a member of our PGR family

Staging:1000 on the outside of the cemetery gate where we will render honor as the family arrive
KSU:To set up a flag line at the designated shelter ,immediately after the family arrives
