DESCRIPTION:The  family of Philip Gordon\, U.S. Army and Vietnam Veteran have requested we  escort him from Penryn\, CA to the Cemetery  in Newcastle CA\, on August 17\, 2016 and stand a flag line in his honor  during his inurnment ceremony at the cemetery. \nThe PGR are indeed  honored to stand for the American Hero and very Patriotic American.\n\nPhilip  served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968\, during which time  he spent a tour of duty in Vietnam. He trained at Ford Ord and then was  sent to St Louis Missouri for USAR Control Group training. He was in  the 109th QM CO. He then was deployed to Vietnam\, and upon his return  from Vietnam was advised to change into civilian clothes when he  returned to the states as people were throwing eggs at them and spitting  on them.  A phenomenon many Vietnam Veterans endured if they traveled  in uniform. \nMISSION DETAILS: \nSTAGING: 1200\, 17 August 2016 \nLOCATION: Commercial parking lot\, 2210 Taylor Road\, Penryn\, CA  http://tinyurl.com/z4yd834  \nBRIEFING: 1210 \n1ST KSU: 1220 \nAt  the destination we will stand a flag line for the transfer of his  cremains to the family car\, and then fallout for the escort to the  cemetery.\n\n2nd KSU: est 1245 – Destination Newcastle Cemetery.
