We have been requested by family members to stand a flag line to honor Boilerman Petty Officer 3rd Class Philip Ganter, US Navy, at his TNC service.
BT3 Ganter served our country honorably from 29 July 1964 to 2 October 1967. He served in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal, among various other awards and citations. In 1970 Phil joined the US Navy Reserves where he served another 10 years before an injury forced his retirement in 1980. This will be a cemetery flag line mission only.
