ABOUT THE MISSION:
Brothers and Sisters of the PGR, it is with a heavy heart that I come to you today with a call to once again stand silent and proud for one who stood for us. We will answer this call as always, with honor, dignity and respect. Percy Liles passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2020 in the presence of his son, family and friends. He was born in Nash County on February 24, 1943 and has been a resident of Clayton for over 40 years. Percy served with the United States Army including 20 plus years serving within the North Carolina National Guard. He was active with American Legion Post #71, for over 31 years in Clayton serving as their Judge Advocate. He was involved in many other organizations including the VFW and the 40 & 8. He was a proud member of the Freedom Biker Church located in Benson, NC. Percy is survived by his son, Harold Liles and three grandchildren. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 1:30 PM, Feb 24, 2021.
