Paul Ibrey Arabie Comment

  1. Mission Complete: 2 July 2020 TSgt Paul Ibrey Arabie, USAF (Ret) Vietnam Veteran, Del City / Choctaw, OK

On Thursday, July 2, 2020 there were 18 Patriot Guard Riders on 12 bikes and 2 cages who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of TSgt Paul Ibrey Arabie, USAF (Ret) Vietnam Veteran.

It was an extremely warm and humid day as we arrived, but that did not dampen the spirits of all of the riders that arrived. The riders were met by the granddaughter of TSgt Paul Ibrey Arabie and her husband who joined us on the ride from the funeral home to the cemetery.

The briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver & Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking for solace for the grieving family, the safety of the riders and all of the other participants in the mission, as well as the highway patrol officers that were injured in a motorcade earlier that day was offered.

At the appropriate time the riders were staged in formation behind the lead police officers and the coach that carried our fallen hero. When we arrived at the cemetery, the riders formed a Respect Line as the Air Force Honor Guard brought the hero from the coach to the bier.

After Military Honors were rendered, the Patriot Guard Riders read and presented the Plaque and Invocation to the wife of the fallen hero.

Thanks to all who came out to attend this mission, and to the Arabie family for extending to us the honor of standing for him.

Most of all, thank you TSGT Paul Ibrey Arabie for you service to this great nation. Rest in peace sir, your mission is complete, and you will not be forgotten.

    Respectfully,

    RCIC: Dennis Denson
    ARC: Michael Way
