Paul Edward Beydler, Sr., Veteran
USA, USAR – WWII, Korea
Dixon, Missouri – 05-27-20
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family and friends have asked the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line at his service and escort him to his final resting place. Before Paul could graduate from Dixon High School in 1945, he was drafted into the Army and was eventually assigned to the U.S. Army Signal Corps. During World War II and after, he served in France and Germany. In 1948, while in Heidelberg, Germany, he acquired his General Equivalency Diploma which allowed him to graduate with the Dixon High School class of 1948. He was honorably discharged from the Army later that year and returned to civilian life under the employment of his father. Soon he re-enlisted in the Army as a Reservist and was called back to active duty, serving in Japan during the Korean conflict.
