Bush has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders escort their loved one and stand a flag line in his honor. Gunnery Sergeant Bush was deployed to Iwakuni\, Japan as well as assigned to the USS John C. Stennis\, supporting his unit during ongoing operations in the Middle East. He was selected to represent the Marine Corps as a Canvassing Recruiter within the 9th Marine Corps District. Paul was later hand selected by the Marine Corps Recruiters School in San Diego as a Basic Recruiter Course Instructor. He screened and trained over 1000 Canvassing Recruiters.
