Paul Andrew North Comment

  1. Another well received mission. With just 16 hours notice, 13 loyal Patriots, 9 bikes and 4 cages, came out to honor this USMC Veteran. Briefing went well as did ride to cemetery. Static flags were put out and flag line was ready well ahead of schedule. Special attention was given to the two first timers to ensure they knew the procedures and were comfortable with their flags. The coin presentation went OK but the presenter, me had a problem holding my composure because of the Widow’s tears. After the ceremony, the family told me that the sight of all the flags and flag line members at the shelter as she pulled in brought the Widow to tears and she was amazed that all these people came out to honor her loved one. It was explained to her and her family how much of an honor it was for us to be invited to show our Honor and Respect . Two First Timer Pins were given out at the debrief. No unusual events to report.
