Patriot Day Memorial Ride

ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to lead the 2020 Patriot Day Memorial Ride and take part in the Elizabeth City Patriot Day Celebration. This will be the third year for this ceremonial ride and event.This event is conducted to Remembering those 344 Fire Fighters, 72 Police Officers, 8 Paramedics, 55 Military Personnel and over 2500 American Citizens that lost their lives on 9-11-01.The escort will consist of Law Enforcement, First Responders and Fire Fighting apparatus from the surrounding communities, as well as veteran motorcycle groups.

All Groups, Clubs and Organizations welcome to join and attend. Motorcycles not required. Motorcycles with Large flags greatly welcomed.The escort will end at the Twiford Funeral Home in downtown Elizabeth City where we will set and maintain a flag line during the Patriot Day Celebration.Upon completion of the ceremony, lunch will be furnished by the Twiford family.
