Otho “Coke” Wiseman, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard of New Mexico and Texas are honored the Wiseman family asked us to honor a fallen hero of the Greatest American Generation by silently standing our flags. “Coke”, 95 years old, was born 3 March 1924 in Greenville, NM and proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army during WWII. He served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. He received the Purple Heart and was a disabled veteran. After the war, he worked for the railroad, the highway department, served as a deputy sheriff and then worked for the Fire Department until he retired. He was a proud father of 5 children; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Special Instructions:

Very Important Note: Anyone from NM supporting this mission, please call or text me at 575-799-4030. Staging / departure current plan is at 10:00 am with arrival in Clayton around 1:00 pm.
Clayton is about 190 miles from Clovis.
Due to weather conditions, departure time could change.
The Texas PGR Panhandle region is taking the lead and will bring flags.
Northern NM is rural with narrow two lane roads. Speed limit is 55 MPH and strictly enforced as I previously found out.
If you live in the NE region of NM and can attend this mission, please meet us in Clayton by 1:00 PM (1300 hours).
Flag line should be stood NLT 1:30 PM (1330 hrs).
Service time is 2:00 PM (1400 hrs).
When service begins, we will stand down and go to the Clayton Memorial Cemetery.
Afternoon / evening storms are common this time of year. If weather is appears to be good on Monday morning, I’ll ride; if not I’ll be in the cage.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
