The State of Mississippi has lost another WW II Hero, Mr. O.R. Dulaney passed away just one week after celebrating his 99th Birthday, his family has requested the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS help honor and pay tribute to him for his honorable and dedicated service to our country.
Mr. Dulaney heroically served as a Combat Medic in the US Army in WW II with the 2nd Infantry Division, Company A, 2nd Medical Battalion and treated injured Soldiers on Omaha Beach. He also served duty in Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes, Northern France and Central Europe. His many awards and citations include the BRONZE STAR, COMBAT MEDICAL BADGE, EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-EASTERN ASIA CAMPAIGN MEDAL, GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL and the HONORABLE SERVICE PIN.
It will indeed be an honor for the PGR to stand for this Hero !
STAGING: Friday 2 September 2016 at 10:30 AM at MANTACHIE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH; 6080 MS-363; Mantachie, MS 38855, the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line until the beginning of the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
ESCORT: Immediately following the funeral service the PGR will escort Mr. Dulaney to MANTACHIE CEMETERY and provide a silent US Flag line for the graveside service.
NOTE: The escort distance is a few hundred yards, large motorcycle mounted US Flags are encouraged.
