PLEASE\, if you question\, at all\, how you will fare in high heat with some exertion and little shade\, consider that this may not be the Mission for you. Above all\, we would not want to disrupt the service or cause any distress to the family. Please consider your physical condition and tolerance for heat. \nAfter a thorough briefing\, the Riders will establish a flag line as directed\, awaiting the arrival of the Zamarripa family and guests. We will hold the line through the beginning of the service. At the Ride Captain’s direction\, we will retire the flag line\, stow the flags\, and debrief. \nRiders who so choose\, may proceed to the staging at the DFW National Cemetery at their discretion. \nName Of Staging Point: Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center\nStaging Address For Part 1: 5201 C. Roberson Boulevard\nFort Worth\, Texas 76119 \nPART 2: Interment\, DFW National Cemetery\nMission Date For Part 2: Jul 16\, 2016 – Saturday\nStaging Time: 13:00\nBriefing Time: 13:15\nStart Time: 13:30\nIn Position Time Or KSU: 14:00 \nDetails Of Part 2: VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is not a “standard” Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery (DFWNC) Mission. The staging point is different. Riders will have very little shade and may be walking distances of a quarter mile or so\, one-way\, with some uphill legs\, between staging locations and the site of the service. PLEASE\, if you question\, at all\, how you will fare in high heat with some exertion and little shade\, consider that this may not be the Mission for you. For those who’ve stood DFWNC Missions in the past\, this will NOT be what you are accustomed to – you must consider your physical condition and tolerance for heat. Above all\, we would not want to disrupt this solemn occasion or cause any distress to the family. \nSTAGING: Upon entering the Main Entrance to the National Cemetery\, proceed as usual toward the Visitors Center. But at the intersection of the parking lanes\, west of the Center\, turn LEFT\, proceed north (up the hill) on Trinity Way\, past Shelter D\, and follow the road to the staging point\, just northwest of the intersection with Lone Star Circle (the loop around the lake – see the Map URL below). The PGR vehicles will be parked single-file on the right side of Trinity Way and the Riders will be directed by the Ride Captains to their positions at the appropriate time. Once in position\, the Riders will stand tall and silent to honor Officer Zamarripa’s service in the United States Navy\, as well as his service in the Dallas Police Department. Due to the anticipated number of attendees\, the Riders are requested to be patient and cooperate with the Ride Captains as we adjust to the changing needs of the family\, the Dallas PD\, and Cemetery personnel. Following the service\, the Riders will be debriefed at a location designated by the Ride Captains. \nName Of Staging Point:\nDallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery\nTrinity Way at Lone Star Circle;\n2000 Mountain Creek Parkway\nDallas\, Texas 75211
