Corporal Myers served in the U.S. Army from January\, 1946\, until June\, 1947. He served as a Photo Lab Tech\, and Light Truck Driver\, in the Army of Occupation Forces in Japan during the post war time. For his service\, he received the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan).
