One of our own, Norman, was a long-standing PGR member and a Vietnam Veteran. He served four years in the US Army with a tour in Vietnam in the infantry at a radar unit. A native of W. VA, he has lived in Georgia for approximately thirty years, last working with railroad cars for Trinity Car. It is now our turn to stand for him.

Special Instructions:

This is an escort with the only service at the GNC. Meet in the parking lot for a ride briefing. We will then line up for the LEO escorted procession to the Georgian National Cemetery. KSU promptly at 11:45AM for the 1:00 PM service at GNC. On his motorcycle, Mr. McCallister’s grandson acting as hearse, will carry his grandfather to the cemetery.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Special Instructions:

Meet at the flag-pole area with bikes on the back sidewalk and cages on the street. Leave plenty of room for vehicles to pass on the roadway. After a briefing we will proceed to the shelter for the service. Bring your mask as they are required at the shelter area. We have another service scheduled for 11:30. Please plan to stay for this 1:00 PM service.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

My wife and I send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Norman Eugene McCallister. Thank you for your service to our country, your can rest in peace your job here on earth is done. Rest in peace my Brother, you will be missed, but never forgotten. I have missed seeing you in the flag line in the last several months. It was always a joy to see you and share some time together. Prayers for your family.
