ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of SD3 Nicanor M Lucas, Jr, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Petty Officer Lucas honorably served in the United States Navy from Nov 1962 until Nov 1968.
Petty Officer Lucas received the National Defense Service Medal.
The Patriot Guard will meet the family at Trahan Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Ct, Pensacola at 1030.
Honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:30 AM, Site “B”.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.
10:00 AM – Safety brief for all riders
10:15 AM – KSU to Trahan Funeral Home
10:30 AM – Arrive Trahan Funeral Home
11:00 AM – Roll time to Barrancas National Cemetery with LEO escorts
11:30 AM – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
**If you cannot attend the briefing, please meet us at the cemetery**
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
