ABOUT THE MISSION:

Jay Phillips was born 8/15/1942 in Savannah, GA and passed away 7/21/2018 at 75 years old.  He served in the Georgia National Guard from 1960-1966, then in the U.S. Navy. After his service he attended Texas A&I University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 1970. He later earned a Masters of Education Degree from McNeese State University in 1973.
