ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of veteran Nelson Crull Weller, 92, USA, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his committal shelter service.  As a young man, Nelson entered into the U.S. Army at the height of WWII and bravely served to the war’s end. He served 18 months on Ascension Island in the South Atlantic and was the recipient of the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Nelson C. Weller, US Army WWII Veteran. During this most difficult time, I pray you peace. I will forever be grateful for his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. Rest easy now, Sir…those you have left behind to carry on without you have the watch.
