DESCRIPTION:NEBRASKA LAW ENFORCEMENT MEMORIAL \nEMS/EMT\, Fire\, LEO \nGrand Island\, Nebraska – 19 May 2017\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Patriot Guard Riders are privileged to be invited by Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial Committee to participate in the Ceremonial Service at the Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial in Grand Island\, Nebraska on Friday\, May 19\, 2017 at 10 am. \nThe service will be held at the Grand Island Fire Department\, Station #1\, 409 East Fonner Park Road\, Grand Island\, Nebraska. Refreshments and social time will be held just prior to the event. The actual Memorial Site is just off South Locust Street in Grand Island at the Fonner Park entrance. \nPatriot Guard Rider Nebraska State Chaplain Gary Smith serves on the Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial Committee and will be participating in the program. \nIn 1962\, President John F. Kennedy signed a law authorizing Peace Officer’s Memorial Day.
