ABOUT THE MISSION:
This is the 10th Annual ride and ceremony to honor all our military and first responders. The event’s goal is not only to thank our military and first responders but to raise funds for Operation Restoring Veteran Hope, Arizona Patriot Guard Riders (particularly helping out with the Snowball Express), and American Legion Post 96 to help out our Veterans in the West Valley.Governor Doug Ducey just signed a Proclamation officially recognizing this event here in Arizona. Registration will be from 8:00 -10:00 am at Desert Rose in Glendale $20 per bike or vehicle participating in the ride. During this time there will be a Color Guard Posting of the Colors and reading of the proclamation across the street at AL Post 29 Glendale. Awareness Riders of AZ will escort us to our final destination at 10th Ave. between Washington and Jefferson. Prior to the escort the PGR will lead in the Circle of Honor about 10:15. PGR members are welcome to ride as well.The route will go to Glendale Ave. West towards Litchfield Park and onto the 303 N. At lake Pleasant PKWY overpass Peoria FD will be standing by to honor us as we ride by. We will than take I 17 S. towards Downtown and make our way to the State Capital where the PGR meet us with a flag line on 17th Ave. as we pass by. The ride will end a short distance away on 10th Ave. between Washington and Jefferson and all are welcome to attend. There will be a couple of guest speakers as well.
