Nathaniel S. Thomas, Sr., Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders, at the family’s request, will be honored to stand a flag line of honor and respect for veteran Nathaniel S. Thomas Sr., 76, and escort him to the hallowed grounds of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where he will receive full military honors. Mr. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964 as a Mortar Man, and then in the USMC Reserves until 1966.  His awards include the Good Conduct Medal (1st Award).  Hero Thomas, a grateful nation thanks you and is indebted to you for your honorable service. Your sacrifices have granted us the freedoms we continue to enjoy to this very day. Thank you and Godspeed.

Special Instructions:

10:00 AM – Ride meeting followed by flag line welcoming family and friends (visitation will be in progress).
11:00 AM – Funeral Service followed by honor escort to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (22 mi).
1:30 PM – Committal Service/Military Honors.  Current forecast for Thursday is mostly sunny with a high of 83.  Please hydrate much more than believed necessary. Cages always welcome.
